I have watched Amanda grow from a shy fourth-grade angel into a beautiful, smart and extremely dedicated young woman. Yesterday she celebrated her 18th birthday and I am so happy I was able to celebrate this milestone with her. Amanda is more than a "cousin" but someone I look at as a little sister.
I baked her dark chocolate cupcakes with vanilla bean buttercream. The cupcakes were lined in both black and zebra liners, adorned with fondant stars and edible glitter.
I can bake any flavor combination you wish but my specialities include:
red velvet w. vanilla bean cream cheese
grandma's oriole chocolate banana w. dark chocolate cream cheese vanilla bean luscious lemon grown-up funfetti carrot cake w. ginger cream cheese dark chocolate w. baileys buttercream lemon w. blueberry buttercream
Your choice of cupcake liner from my collection. If none is chosen Espresso Brown will be used.
Fondant or Gum Paste Extra
I can also do dessert bars for weddings or parties.
I have had a passion for baking since I was a child. I would like to think it began in my Grandmother's kitchen, watching her bake dozens of peanut butter burst cookies or her infamous 'oriole' chocolate cake. Baking as I know it is in my blood, it is my god given talent and my passion. I love the expression people have when they indulge into a bite of scrumptious heaven. This blog was created to document my life as a master baker in training.
